Scarred Lands for AD&D?

In 2002, Scarred Lands came out for D&D 3e. It wasn't an official setting from Wizards of the Coast; it was a third-party setting by Sword & Sorcery Studios. I remember at the time (2003ish), a guy was running AD&D 1e, using the setting books at the local comic book store, named Sarge's Comics in Connecticut.

I sat in the game for a few sessions on Saturday afternoons, and it was a pretty decent setting in my opinion. There weren’t a lot of books out for it then, and they were just starting to hit the shelves, but I do remember they would be coming in every month or so. So while I was sitting in the game, I would pick up the books at the comic shop. I am not one to ignore things that interest me, just because it was another edition. Source material is source material to mine for my edition of D&D, which of course was AD&D.

I thought it would be fun to go over those books and see what I could come up with to use for AD&D. Its always fun to dive into something and be creative, and most DMs enjoy that type of thought experiment... well at least I enjoy the process of creating or converting things to my liking. So if you are interested, follow the blog for updates as I pour through the many books of this setting. Comment along with your opinions.
