Week in Review, ending 3/20/26
Another week has passed us by, and it’s time to recap what’s been going on. For one, I decided it’s time to step back from the Evil DM YouTube channel after some frustrating news. Following lengthy discussions with a YouTube Advisor, I found out why I wasn’t getting the views a channel like mine should be getting—and it wasn’t anything I was doing wrong. It was due to how YouTube categorized my channel based on actions taken by others a few years ago.
Personally, I’m not all that upset about it, since I never took YouTube seriously. Still, it was upsetting to hear that, no matter what I do, things really won’t improve. So, shrug. I’ll focus on my audio podcast, which has always been my main focus and joy, and that will give me more time for The Black Notebook, Gotham & Beyond, and my solo RPG channel. I’ll start including all my podcasts in this weekly newsletter so you can check them out if you’d like!
