Tiny d6 Spies = Tiny GI Joe?
Part 1 - Taking Tiny Spies the game and making it work with in the world of GI Joe, Part one!
Today at work, I was sitting around talking with some coworkers, and I wanted to run a roleplaying game during lunch—something easy enough that we could probably finish within 30 minutes to an hour, including some fooling around and laughing, you know?
Someone suggested Tiny D6. Tiny Six is a very light system, easy to use and play. I’m familiar with it from rolling 2d6, 1d6, or 3d6, depending on whether you have advantage or not. I mentioned that while I was familiar with it, it wasn’t one of my favorite systems. So, this type of system hadn’t crossed my mind.
Suddenly, my coworker whipped out Tiny Spies and handed it to me. I’m not sure why he had it on him, but why not?
During lunch, I sat down and read all 53 pages. It was a simple, quick read, and I decided I could easily adapt this into a “Tiny GI Joe.” I mean, why not? Spies? GI Joe? They go together.
After lunch, I went back to my coworkers at their desks and said, “What if I made a GI Joe game out of this?” They responded with an enthusiastic “yes.” Now, I’m going to spend the next few days revamping this 53-page book—well, at least most of it—into something we can use to play GI Joe. Stay tuned for more posts on this and updates on my progress!
This sounds fantastic! Can’t wait to see what you come up with! Make sure to share!
