I’ve always been the type of gamer who likes to push boundaries—play differently, think outside the box, and challenge myself to see the world through new mechanics.
Now that is a name I have not heard in a long time, GURPS 3rd but it does hold a special space in my heart. Sci-Fi was definitely my favorite genre in GURPS the days I spent building space ships, stations, solar systems and planets. It was basically how I solo played back in the 90's just building stuff and not a lot of fleshed out stories, man I wish we had some of today's oracles and frames works for solo play back then.
Yeah, I wish we had things we have today back then too. I would often sit there in the '90s and early '00s, just making stuff up, creating for whatever game I wished I was playing. The closest thing I had to an "oracle" was using a d6 and using it to determine if there was creatures in room or if something would attack me. I got the idea from an old Dragon Magazine where Gary wrote something about random decisions, roll a d6 to determine a yes or no.
I hope you’ll write about some of the rules and your play throughs!
Awesome! I’ll be reading! 😊😊
Yeah. I think I will. Good idea!
