Grimbo Grotto is a compact Christmas crawl that drops your party into a snowed-in abbey through twin chimneys, then hits them with red-and-white mushrooms, evil gnomes, and a candy cane golem. The centerpiece is a rotten, undead turkey that spews gravy and a bound Tree Ent surrounded by mimic βpresents,β all pointing to a finale with a foul-mouthed were-reindeer boss. It reads quick and plays quicker, perfect when you want a full session without heavy prep.
Use light as the counter to spores, telegraph the hazards, and set limits on the wishbone reward before you start. If the table wipes, the module gives you a safety valve, they wake at the chimneys, XP intact, gear reset, and a tidy epilogue in the snow. It feels like a holiday special that still respects AD&D teeth.
