AD&D Adventure: Turkey Day!
This one is a fast festival adventure built for a holiday table. The feast begins, the blessing pops a thin Astral slip, and the prized bird vanishes. You keep the clock tight. Push the party through a quick parade ambush and a smoky kitchen problem, then open the slip and run a short chase in the Astral. Track a grease trail, bargain or brawl with whoever finds the bird first, and haul the prize back before sundown.
It works because the stakes are simple and visible. The town is hungry, the baron is watching, and the bell rings at dusk. Players earn small wins as they protect food, calm crowds, and solve hazards without wrecking the party. The finale lands hard when the platter returns and the square erupts. If they fail, the stew still feeds people, and a new hook is ready for next session.
